I graduated from Bristol’s University of the West of England (UWE) in 2011 having earned a 2:1 in BA (Hon) Illustration. Since then I have successfully completed commissions on an ad hoc basis, and between 2016 and 2022 my bold graphic style lent itself to running a side hustle business and online shop called “Rhillustration”, where I sold a range of illustrated goods, homeware and accessories.

Illustration is a significant part of my artistic voice, and my expertise in this area is transferable to the interior design profession. Today these sketching skills are fundamental for communicating a sense of place in my interior design practice, as well as conveying colour, materiality, texture, pattern, shape and form when rendering design drawings.

Previous illustration clients include Govia Thameslink Railway, Crawley Town FC, Ohh Deer, Devonshire Collective, Your Eastbourne BID, the Association of Illustrators and Thortful as well as plenty of private commissions; some of these are featured here on this page.
